Handling of personal and assessment data

Osamu Maeda (the 'Operator') sets forth this Privacy Policy regarding the handling of personal information and assessment data obtained through GCI (the 'Service').

1. Information Collected

Account information (email, password hash, etc.), profile information (date of birth or age band, language, education history, etc.), assessment data (responses, correctness, response times, assigned Forms, device and environment context), and support history. No payment information is collected during the free release.

2. Purposes of Use

Providing, operating, and improving the Service; creating and displaying cognitive profiles; identity verification and fraud prevention; customer support; statistical analysis and research (only with research consent); and legal compliance.

3. Third-Party Disclosure

The Operator does not disclose personal information to third parties except as required by law or with user consent. Hosting and authentication infrastructure may use cloud services such as Supabase and Resend. Because no payment processing occurs during the free release, no payment information is provided to PAY.JP, Inc.

4. Research Consent

You may voluntarily consent or decline to have your assessment data used for research after anonymization and statistical processing. Consent can be withdrawn at any time from the account page. After withdrawal, the relevant data is excluded from future aggregation. However, aggregated data that has already been irreversibly anonymized may be retained where legally permitted.

5. Retention Period

Account and assessment data are retained until you delete your account, or for the minimum period required by law. Account deletion can be requested from the account page.

6. Requests for Correction or Deletion

You may request correction, deletion, or suspension of use of your personal information, except where such requests would conflict with legal obligations or retention of anonymized aggregates.

7. Cookies and Analytics

The Service may use cookies and analytics to improve service quality. See the 'Cookies and Advertising' page for details.
